YOUTH MRF REPRESENTATIVES PARTICIPATED IN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF IFLRY

In the period of 14.12.2017-17.12.2017, a General Assembly of the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) was held in Beirut, Lebanon, where Gyulfie Arnaudova, a member of the Central Executive Council of Youth MRF, and Fatme Yusein, a member of the Academic Structure of Youth MRF Varna participated.

The General Assembly was held in two parts - a conference on "Migration: Open Borders" and a General Assembly, during which resolutions were discussed on important international topics, as well as changes to the Charter and procedural rules.

During the General Assembly, it was decided to introduce a new Associate Statute and to abolish the status of Candidate Members. They have the right to write resolutions and vote for them, but they are not allowed to nominate members of the IFLRY Bureau and to participate in decision-making concerning the Statute of the organization and the financial documents.

Youth MRF also expressed its position on several resolutions concerning Turkey and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The next congress of IFLRY will take place in Ghana in early March.
