Youth MRF representatives took part in the LYMEC Congress

On the 23rd and 24th of April 2021 the European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) held its Spring Congress Online. The Congress was opened by the President of the organisation Antoaneta Asenova, who is a member of Youth Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the young liberals were welcomed by Hans van Baalen - ALDE Party President, Dacian Cioloș - President of Renew Europe Group, Hilde Vautmans - ELF President and MEP, Amanda Kanange - IFLRY President and others.

The Congress discussed the current political situation in Europe and adopted 15 new resolutions on a number of different topics - civil rights in Ukraine, democracy in Belarus, CO2 taxes, education, vaccination policies and much more. More than 130 delegates from different youth liberal political organizations across Europe took part in the Congress. Youth MRF delegates were Sezgin Mehmed - President and MP, Tanzer Yuseinov - Vice President, Erten Anisova - Member of CEC of YMRF, Behchet Emurlov - Municipal Leader of YMRF Branch in Aytos, Mehmed Rasim - Member of NC of YMRF and Selin Karova - member of the International Committee.
